What you will be able to do

• Find the unit price of two package sizes with a phone calculator and pick the better buy.
• Work out a sale price, a tip, and sales tax with percents, with or without a phone calculator.
• Read a pay stub, check gross pay as hours times rate, and find deductions and net pay.
• Estimate a total before checkout by rounding, and check a receipt for errors.
• Convert simple units for a home task: inches, feet, and yards; teaspoons, tablespoons, cups, and quarts.
