Pick a goal and a course, plan short study times, use study tricks that work, and find free help near you.
What you will be able to do
- Given a personal goal, state one life goal in one sentence and match it to one BMU course that teaches the needed skill.
- Plan three 15 minute study times for the coming week, each written as a when and where plan with a day, time, place, and phone reminder.
- Choose quizzing yourself and spacing out study over rereading, and use both in at least two study sessions.
- Turn on read aloud, larger text, and captions on your own phone or computer, and use at least one during study.
- Find one free learning help source near you (library or adult education) with contact details, and use a one page learning plan for 7 days with a written check in.
