Course project
This is where you show you can do what the course promised. Build your project in the builder below. The site checks each rubric row and tells you what to fix. Your certificate needs this step and a passed Posttest.
Capstone rubric
The site checks each part. A row passes when your work matches Ready. You need all six rows.
| Part | Not yet | Getting there | Ready |
|---|---|---|---|
| Scan | No scan. | A photo, not a PDF. | A clean PDF with all four corners. |
| File name | Default name. | Partly clear. | Last name, what it is, month and year. |
| Attachment | Missing. | Wrong file. | The right PDF attached. |
| Subject line | Blank. | Vague. | What, what for, and your name. |
| Message | None. | One word. | Greeting, what and why, your name. |
| Proof | None. | Sent, no screenshot. | A screenshot of the sent email. |
Compare your capstone: example answers
These are made up examples. Compare your work row by row.
A strong example
- Scan: a clean PDF of the practice form, all four corners showing.
- File name: Ruiz Practice Form Nov 2026.
- Attachment: the PDF, checked at the bottom of the email.
- Subject: Practice form for BMU 010, Ana Ruiz.
- Message: Hi, here is my practice form as a PDF. Thank you, Ana Ruiz, 555 0188.
- Proof: a screenshot of the sent email with the file showing.
A weak example, with feedback
- Weak: A photo of the form, named IMG 2231. Why and how to fix: A photo is not a PDF, and the name is the default. Scan to PDF, then rename with last name, what it is, month and year.
- Weak: Subject: hi Why and how to fix: Vague. Write what, what for, and your name.
- Weak: No screenshot. Why and how to fix: Open your sent email, check the file, and take a screenshot.
Fix it and try again
For each row that says Not yet, read the feedback above, go back to the lesson for that part, and fix it. Then press Check my project again. You can do this as many times as you want.
End of course self check
Mark how sure you feel about each goal. This is not a grade, and it does not change your certificate.
